Gând

Creaturi ale obișnuinței 

Plutim pe curenții recreativi 

ai diminețelor demult apuse.

Gând

Prea înfometata gură a trecutului a înșfăcat în sfârșit reptiliana coadă a viitorului.

Sau poate e invers dar nimeni nu mai știe care e care, sau care pe care,

Iar acum stăm în suspensie încercând să ne amintim sau sa ne imaginăm 

Ceva altceva decât ce a fost sau ar putea fi, altfel decât ceea ce chiar este,

Singurul adevăr, singurul punct 

În care cu multă grijă și în perfect echilibru 

stă tabloul realității noastre frugale 

agățat.

Gând

Am lăsat răul să intre pe ușa din față

Câinii zilelor trecute dorm.

Diform, pasul-i ne va strivi sub greutate-i grumazul

Un fel de cutremur de suprafață 

ce fără nazuri va zgudui zidul cetății

Și cu atât mai mult îl va face țărână 

pe cât a fost de enorm.

and stare at the ants on your veranda
or the shadows of the trees
and grasses in your garden.
It matters that you care.

It matters that you feel.

It matters that you notice.

It matters that life lives through you.

Contentment is life living through you.
Joy is life living through you.
Satisfaction and strength
is life living through you.
